He sure looks all bright and eager. I'm sure that will get knocked out of him soon enough. In the meantime, it's hard to watch them toddle off to formal education without a backward glance. No good bye or thanks for the early childhood. (sigh)
I am a stay at home Mom of 3 and full time caregiver of my 84 year old Mom. I have a Masters Degree in Gerontology and worked in the field of Aging for 13 years before leaving to care for my family.

He is indeed bright, eager and growing up.
He has been very excited for school to start and was happy with his day. He is thrilled that he get's to go the computer lab this year.

It's fun to see uniforms. I don't remember it being especially fun to wear them. The green polyester pants could light matches, I think.
Okay, my heart melted when I saw those pictures. Can you remember some of your "first days"? I can . . . sort of.
